The forest village of Grüntal (515 m above sea level) is located between Benneckenstein and Trautenstein.

The Grün­tal is an idyl­lic rest area with a forester’s lodge that is still inhab­it­ed today and sev­er­al vaca­tion homes.

You can reach the Grün­tal stamp­ing sta­tion from the park­ing lot on the left-hand side at the end of Ben­neck­en­stein in the direc­tion of Trautenstein.
