Stamping point 158 / Hassenstein

The Hassenstein (560 m above sea level) is located above the Oder dam in Bad Lauterberg and is a vantage point with a refuge.

The best starting point is the “Meilerplatz” parking lot on the outskirts of Bad Lauterberg below the Panoramic Hotel. From there, take the Dietrichstal road to the edge of the forest, from where the signposted hiking trails lead steadily uphill to the Hassensteinhütte. From there, you can continue along signposted paths to the Stöberhai HWN 159.
