Stamp point 63 / Schöneburg (viewpoint)

The Schöneburg viewpoint (441 m above sea level) is located above Altenbrak.

From the Schöneb­urg you have an excel­lent view of Altenbrak and the Bode Valley.

The best start­ing point for a hike is the Bode­tal trout farm in Altenbrak. From there, fol­low the south­ern route of the Harz Witch­es’ Trail steadi­ly uphill to Schöneb­urg Cas­tle. You can con­tin­ue the tour on the Witch­es’ Trail to the Stem­berghaus HWN 60, 2 km away.
