The Oberförster-Koch monument (585 m above sea level) is located between Ilsenburg and Hasserode and consists of a narrow granite stone, which was erected by the Harzklub on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the service of the head forester in 1914.
From Hasserode, walk to Mönchsbuche HWN 26 and follow the Oberförster-Koch-Weg to the monument with the stamp box.
