Stamping point 94 / Dreiherrenstein (at Brandhai 48A)

The Dreiherrenstein (552 m above sea level) is located between Neustadt and Breitenstein near the old army road.

The Three Lords’ Stones are heraldic boundary stones dating from 1735, which demarcated the territories of the Elector of Brunswick-Lüneburg, the Elector of Saxony and the Duke of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel. However, it is unclear why the stones are in this particular location, as the actual border triangle is around 500 m away.

A good starting point is the parking lot in front of the Waldgaststätte Hufhaus, from where you first follow the Alte Heerstraße and then a signposted hiking trail to the stamping point.
