Stamping point 58 / Horse

The “Pferdchen” (approx. 430 m above sea level) is a vantage point high above the southern Harz municipality of Zorge.

The lit­tle horse was vot­ed the most beau­ti­ful stamp site by our hik­ing friends in 2013.

This is part­ly due to the won­der­ful view over Zorge, but also because the pavil­ion is always very well maintained.

The best start­ing point is the spa gar­dens in the cen­ter of Zorge. Fol­low the sign­post­ed, steadi­ly ascend­ing path through the Steiger­tal val­ley and then take a rel­a­tive­ly steep path to the Pfer­d­chen viewpoint. 

You can con­tin­ue the hike to HWN 160 Hele­nen­ruh and return to Zorge via the Gruben­weg past the “Nord­häuser Blick”.
