Stamp point 142 / Mandolinenhütte

The Mandolinenhütte is located above the Ochsental valley between Lauthental and the Innerste reservoir.

From the Man­do­linen­hütte you have an out­stand­ing view of the Inner­ste reser­voir. Next to the hut, where the stamp box is locat­ed, the van­tage point has been designed with an implied Stein­way grand piano and a small seat­ing area. Just like the Tränke­bach­hütte HWN 104, the Man­do­linen­hütte is locat­ed on the Stein­way Trail, which leads from Wolf­sha­gen to Seesen. 

The most con­ve­nient start­ing point is the Spar­ren­bergsied­lung on the out­skirts of Lau­t­en­thal. The sign­post­ed Ochsen­tal­weg trail starts at the bus stop and leads to the Man­do­linen­hütte after approx. 1.5 km.
