The Harz Mountains are perfect for nature and hiking enthusiasts.

Hardly any other region can boast so many interesting landscapes and cultural forms. The Harz stretches across the three federal states of Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. The Harzer Wandernadel stamp booklet, our three-part map set and the information on our website will gently guide you to the most beautiful and exciting places in the entire Harz region.

The tours to the individual stamp points vary in length, difficulty and altitude, so that families with children as well as senior citizens and ambitious hikers can soon pin a Harz hiking pin on themselves.

A particularly popular award for young and old is the hiking princess and prince. You can earn a badge and a certificate with just 11 stamps in your hiking pass.

The stamping points of the “Harzer Wandernadel” are available for you at a total of 222 interesting places throughout the Harz Mountains. They are located near romantic forest inns, rustic mountain huts and a variety of interesting viewpoints. Mines, castle ruins, natural monuments and, of course, the majestic Brocken are also waiting for your visit and have a stamp ready for you.

With the Harz Hiking Needle, you can hike the entire Harz Mountains and experience its full range. You will get to know well-known tourist magnets such as the Brocken, the Rosstrappe in Thale or the UNESCO World Heritage Site Rammelsberg in Goslar, as well as little-known but no less worthwhile destinations.
