Stamping point 50 / Walzenhütte

The Walzenhütte (521 m above sea level) is located between Trautenstein and Benneckenstein in the Harz stream valleys.

A good start­ing point is the hik­ing park­ing lot next to the Damm­bach­tal café on the out­skirts of Traut­en­stein. As a day tour, you can also com­bine the Walzen­hütte with HWN 47 Ober­harzblick am Buchen­berg, HWN 48 Stier­berg­ste­ich, HWN 97 Ziege­nalm Sophien­hof and HWN 51 Carl­sturm to cre­ate a beau­ti­ful cir­cu­lar tour.
