Marked with the brown sym­bol, it leads hik­ers on 6 stages for approx. 100 km from Bad Grund to Walken­ried Monastery.

Sim­ply start the stage of your choice and col­lect all the stamps you find at the Bau­den in the accom­pa­ny­ing book­let. Once you have hiked all 9 Bau­den, you will receive your “Harz­er Bau­den­Steig hik­ing pin” for a nom­i­nal fee of €4. You can obtain the hik­ing pin from all par­tic­i­pat­ing tourist infor­ma­tion offices along the Bau­den­Steig or from the Harz­er Wan­der­nadel ser­vice office.
