You can have the achieve­ment of a per­for­mance lev­el con­firmed by acquir­ing the cor­re­spond­ing hik­ing pin.

For the pro­duc­tion of our pre­mi­um badges, the Harz­er Steiger and the Harz­er Wan­derkaiser, geol­o­gists Dr. Elke Steiger and Dr. Torsten Steiger select typ­i­cal Harz rock types. The select­ed stones are sawn and care­ful­ly worked in sev­er­al stages to cre­ate unique and inge­nious pieces.

You need a total of 111 num­bered stamps of the Harz­er Wan­der­nadel for this high-rank­ing achieve­ment badge. 

Of these, 23 oblig­a­tory stamp­ing points with a min­ing con­nec­tion can be found in the Harz­er Steiger book­let. This pro­vides you with back­ground infor­ma­tion on the 23 com­pul­so­ry min­ing sites.

The Harzer Wanderkaiser award is the highest achievement level of the Harzer Wandernadel.

Only those who have hiked all the stamp sites may call them­selves such.

You need all 222 stamps of the Harz­er Wan­der­nadel for this high-rank­ing badge. You col­lect the stamps in your hik­ing pass. 

Col­lect­ing is not lim­it­ed in time, so it is pos­si­ble over sev­er­al years. The num­ber of brooches is lim­it­ed to 222 pieces of a par­tic­u­lar stone series. Once these 222 have been allo­cat­ed, the badge is made from a dif­fer­ent Harz stone, again lim­it­ed to a quan­ti­ty of 222.
