The let­ter­ing ALTENAU is impres­sive­ly enthroned at this van­tage point on the Mühlenberg.

Stamp­ing point 149 is also part of the Alte­nau Heart Trail stamp cir­cuit. This inter­est­ing adven­ture hik­ing trail, all about the heart for the whole fam­i­ly, with a total of 7 stamp points, cov­ers approx. 12.4 km. 

The book­let “Alte­nauer Herzweg”, which accom­pa­nies the Harz­er Wan­der­nadel, can be pur­chased at var­i­ous tourist infor­ma­tion offices in the Upper Harz or from the Harz­er Wandernadel.
