The Glockenstein (506 m above sea level) is located above the Wurmbach valley in Stecklenberg.

The granite block, whose shape is reminiscent of a bell, was probably an ancient Germanic place of worship in prehistoric times. According to legend, the Glockenstein rings like a bell on Walpurgis Night, showing the witches the way to the Brocken.
The direct route to the Glockenstein leads steeply uphill from Stecklenberg through the Wurmbach valley.
