Stamp point 4 / Taubenklippe

The Taubenklippe stamping station (572 m above sea level) lies high above the Eckertal valley near Bad Harzburg.

From the van­tage point, you can see the Raben­klippe for­est inn HWN 170 on the oth­er side of the val­ley. At the time of the inner-Ger­man divi­sion, the bor­der ran right through the Eck­er­tal val­ley and the Eck­er­talsperre dam of the same name HWN 1.

From Ilsen­burg, you can hike to the Tauben­klippe via the Meineberg, the Froschfelsen HWN 5 and then on via the Würtem­berg­er Bank.
