Stamp point 33 / Stapenberg

The Stapenberg (443 m above sea level) lies above the village of Benzingerode.

The recom­men­ded start­ing point is the par­king lot at the church in Ben­zin­ge­ro­de, whe­re the sign­pos­ted hiking trail beg­ins, which leads very stee­p­ly from the edge of the vil­la­ge through the forest to the sum­mit pla­teau. From the­re you have an excel­lent view over the Harz for­eland and to the Brocken. 

We recom­mend con­ti­nuing the tour to Aus­t­berg­turm HWN 83 and on to Heim­burg and Alten­burg HWN 84.
