L\u2019ob\u00adjec\u00adtif \u00e9tait d\u2019a\u00adm\u00e9\u00adlio\u00adrer la mau\u00advaise situa\u00adtion \u00e9co\u00adno\u00admique des villes de mon\u00adtagne de Claus\u00adthal, Zel\u00adler\u00adfeld et Alte\u00adnau.<br>En l\u2019es\u00adpace de deux ans, les plans sont deve\u00adnus si concrets qu\u2019au d\u00e9but de l\u2019an\u00adn\u00e9e 1914, le tra\u00adc\u00e9 de 20 kilo\u00adm\u00e8tres de la gare de l\u2019est de Claus\u00adthal \u00e0&nbsp;Oste\u00adrode en pas\u00adsant par Bun\u00adten\u00adbock, Ler\u00adbach et Frei\u00adheit \u00e9tait tra\u00adc\u00e9 et des tran\u00adch\u00e9es \u00e9taient d\u00e9j\u00e0 creu\u00ads\u00e9es dans la&nbsp;for\u00eat.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>Mal\u00adgr\u00e9 des co\u00fbts de construc\u00adtion \u00e9normes, la ligne de che\u00admin de fer a&nbsp;\u00e9t\u00e9 consi\u00add\u00e9\u00adr\u00e9e comme ren\u00adtable par de nom\u00adbreuses per\u00adsonnes concer\u00adn\u00e9es, ce qui est dif\u00adfi\u00adci\u00adle\u00adment ima\u00adgi\u00adnable aujourd\u2019\u00adhui. La grande dif\u00adf\u00e9\u00adrence d\u2019al\u00adti\u00adtude entre Bun\u00adten\u00adbock et Ler\u00adbach n\u00e9ces\u00adsi\u00adtait trois tun\u00adnels de 150, 300 et 550 m\u00e8tres de long, neuf ponts de val\u00adl\u00e9e de jus\u00adqu\u2019\u00e0 150 m\u00e8tres de long et 30 m\u00e8tres de haut, et onze pas\u00adsages sup\u00e9\u00adrieurs et inf\u00e9\u00adrieurs sur les che\u00admins. Les villes de Bun\u00adten\u00adbock, Ler\u00adbach et Frei\u00adheit devaient rece\u00advoir des gares. De la gare de Claus\u00adthal-Ost, la ligne aurait pu \u00eatre pour\u00adsui\u00advie vers le nord jus\u00adqu\u2019\u00e0 Hah\u00adnenk\u00adlee si n\u00e9cessaire.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>La Pre\u00admi\u00e8re Guerre mon\u00addiale a&nbsp;annu\u00adl\u00e9 la r\u00e9a\u00adli\u00adsa\u00adtion de cette ligne de che\u00admin de fer dont la pla\u00adni\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtion \u00e9tait ter\u00admi\u00adn\u00e9e et qui aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 com\u00adpa\u00adrable \u00e0&nbsp;la H\u00f6l\u00adlen\u00adtal\u00adbahn dans la For\u00eat Noire.
