Die Harz\u00ader W\u00e4lder sind lei\u00adder nicht von den Wit\u00adterung\u00adsex\u00adtremen der let\u00adzten Jahre ver\u00adschont geblieben. Dabei sind viele Wald\u00adfl\u00e4chen im Land\u00adkreis Harz beson\u00adders stark von dem fol\u00adgen\u00adden Borkenk\u00e4fer\u00adbe\u00adfall, beg\u00fcn\u00adstigt durch Trock\u00aden\u00adheit und Hitze, betrof\u00adfen.
Im Rah\u00admen des Wald\u00adspende\u00adpro\u00adjek\u00adts als Gemein\u00adschaft\u00adsak\u00adtion beste\u00adhend aus dem Krisen\u00adstab Wald des Land\u00adkreis\u00ades Harz sowie der Harz\u00ader Wan\u00adder\u00adnadel und dem Harz\u00ader Touris\u00admusver\u00adband, kon\u00adnten bere\u00adits 2 Wald\u00adfl\u00e4chen erfol\u00adgre\u00adich wieder\u00adaufge\u00adforstet werden.<\/p>\n

Wald\u00adspende\u00adpro\u00adjekt an der Plessen\u00adburg<\/strong>
Das erste Wald\u00adspende\u00adpro\u00adjekt in der N\u00e4he der beliebten Waldgast\u00adst\u00e4tte Plessen\u00adburg fand im Rah\u00admen ein\u00ader Crowd\u00adfund\u00ading Aktion \u00fcber das Por\u00adtal 99Funken statt. W\u00e4hrend des 3monatigen Spenden\u00adzeitraums von Novem\u00adber 2021 bis Feb\u00adru\u00adar 2022 kon\u00adnte die ben\u00f6tigte Summe von 22.500\u20ac gesam\u00admelt wer\u00adden, sodass die 1,5 Hek\u00adtar gro\u00dfe Fl\u00e4che erst ber\u00e4umt und im Mai 2022 mit \u00fcber 5.500 Set\u00adzlin\u00adgen aus Traubene\u00adichen, Berga\u00adhorn, Roterlen und weit\u00aderen Bau\u00admarten wieder\u00adaufge\u00adforstet wer\u00adden kon\u00adnte. Eine
Umz\u00e4u\u00adnung soll die Set\u00adzlinge abschlie\u00dfend gegen Wild\u00adver\u00adbiss sch\u00fctzen.<\/p>\n

For\u00adest dona\u00adtion project at the K\u00f6nigsh\u00fctte dam<\/strong>
The 6.5\u2011hectare area is locat\u00aded at the K\u00f6nigsh\u00fctte dam and bor\u00adders the south\u00adern shore of the Harz\u00ader-Hex\u00aden-Stieg trail with the Harz\u00ader Wan\u00adder\u00adnadel stamp\u00ading sta\u00adtion 42. With the help of a gen\u00ader\u00adous donor from the local econ\u00ado\u00admy, the pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adal and site-appro\u00adpri\u00adate refor\u00adesta\u00adtion
into a mixed hard\u00adwood for\u00adest took place in spring 2023. After clear\u00ading the area, refor\u00adesta\u00adtion was car\u00adried out with sycamore maple, Euro\u00adpean larch, bird cher\u00adry, hazel and small-leaved lime. <\/p>\n

Planned for\u00adest dona\u00adtion project on the Stump Ridge in Ilsen\u00adburg<\/strong>
The one-hectare area is locat\u00aded above the well-known \u201cIlses\u00adtein\u201d in the munic\u00adi\u00adpal for\u00adest of the town of Ilsen\u00adburg. The area offers a beau\u00adti\u00adful view of the Harz fore\u00adland. The spruce stand was severe\u00adly weak\u00adened by the drought of recent years, infest\u00aded by the bark bee\u00adtle and caused to die. The dam\u00adaged wood was har\u00advest\u00aded at the end of 2022. The area is now being pre\u00adpared for replant\u00adi\u00adng
. The plan is to plant 4,000 red oaks, 2,000 ses\u00adsile oaks, 1,000
win\u00adter lime trees, as well as some sweet chest\u00adnuts and weep\u00ading cher\u00adries. Due to the high wildlife pop\u00adu\u00adla\u00adtion, the area will then be fenced off. <\/p>\n
