In view of the exten\u00adsive tree dam\u00adage caused by drought, storms and bark bee\u00adtles in recent years, there has been a grow\u00ading com\u00admit\u00adment to dona\u00adtions and tree plant\u00adi\u00adng cam\u00adpaigns from pri\u00advate indi\u00advid\u00adu\u00adals and com\u00adpa\u00adnies. The web\u00adsite of the \u201cDer Wald ruft\u201d (\u201cThe for\u00adest is call\u00ading\u201d) ini\u00adtia\u00adtive helped with inquiries and sup\u00adport opportunities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is how ARTUS GmbH final\u00adly became aware of the for\u00adest dona\u00adtion project in the Harz dis\u00adtrict in the sum\u00admer of 2022. The first refor\u00adesta\u00adtion of an area near Plessen\u00adburg Cas\u00adtle near Ilsen\u00adburg \u2014 financed via a crowd\u00adfund\u00ading cam\u00adpaign \u2014 was real\u00adized short\u00adly before\u00adhand as a joint action by the for\u00adest cri\u00adsis team of the Harz dis\u00adtrict, the Harz\u00ader Wan\u00adder\u00adnadel and the Harz Tourism Association. <\/p>\n\n

ARTUS Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Brand- und Wasser\u00adschaden\u00adsanierung mbH, a sub\u00adsidiary of the ARTUS Bautrock\u00adnung- und Sanierungs\u00adgruppe, is based in Isern\u00adhagen and cel\u00ade\u00adbrat\u00aded its 10th anniver\u00adsary in the fall of 2022. To mark this spe\u00adcial occa\u00adsion, the founder and man\u00adag\u00ading direc\u00adtor, Josef B\u00f6lle, a long-time lover of resin, called for dona\u00adtions to be col\u00adlect\u00aded for fur\u00adther refor\u00adesta\u00adtion projects of this kind. No soon\u00ader said than done: the anniver\u00adsary event raised a remark\u00adable total of \u20ac3,500. This was cer\u00ade\u00admo\u00adni\u00adous\u00adly hand\u00aded over today at the Plessen\u00adburg for\u00adest dona\u00adtion site. The local for\u00adest ranger, Lutz B\u00f6ge, explained the prin\u00adci\u00adple of plant\u00adi\u00adng on site to every\u00adone involved. The dona\u00adtion will be used to main\u00adtain the area and enable replant\u00adi\u00adng. If the funds are not used up, they will be used for the next for\u00adest dona\u00adtion projects in the Harz district. <\/p>\n\n

Josef B\u00f6lle com\u00adments: \u201cMy wife and I love the Harz For\u00adest and have been vaca\u00adtion\u00ading there for years to relax from the stress of every\u00adday life and enjoy the won\u00adder\u00adful nature. My wife, a forester\u2019s daugh\u00adter, and I were very shocked to see how the for\u00adest has changed in recent years. This fundrais\u00ading cam\u00adpaign is a mat\u00adter very close to our hearts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
