A&nbsp;trunk was erect\u00aded on the top of the moun\u00adtain, which bears a&nbsp;pecu\u00adliar\u00adly craft\u00aded wreath. The Queste is at the cen\u00adter of a&nbsp;large folk fes\u00adti\u00adval, which is cel\u00ade\u00adbrat\u00aded every year at Whit\u00adsun with the par\u00adtic\u00adi\u00adpa\u00adtion of the entire vil\u00adlage. The fes\u00adti\u00adval prob\u00ada\u00adbly goes back to a&nbsp;pagan sun ritual.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>Pre\u00adhis\u00adtoric and ear\u00adly his\u00adtor\u00adi\u00adcal sites, a&nbsp;medieval feu\u00addal cas\u00adtle, beau\u00adti\u00adful half-tim\u00adbered archi\u00adtec\u00adture, mon\u00adu\u00adments to legal his\u00adto\u00adry and the old tra\u00addi\u00adtion of the Questen\u00adfest char\u00adac\u00adter\u00adize this place in many ways. Questen\u00adberg is charm\u00ading\u00adly sit\u00adu\u00adat\u00aded in the mid\u00addle of the Nasse break\u00adthrough val\u00adley, which has cut through the steeply ris\u00ading rocks to the right and left of the village.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>The high medieval Questen\u00adburg cas\u00adtle is locat\u00aded direct\u00adly north of the vil\u00adlage on a&nbsp;spur of land. The first doc\u00adu\u00admen\u00adtary men\u00adtion of a&nbsp;cas\u00adtle lord, the squire Frid\u00ader\u00adi\u00adcus de Questen\u00adberg, dates back to&nbsp;1275.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>The so-called \u201cglacial pot\u00adholes\u201d are locat\u00aded on the ascent. Con\u00adtrary to the orig\u00adi\u00adnal assump\u00adtion, these are not glacial pot\u00adholes from the Ice Age, but the for\u00admer riverbed of the Nasse, which has changed its course over hun\u00addreds of years.
