From there you have a&nbsp;won\u00adder\u00adful view of the 24&nbsp;meter high and 134&nbsp;meter long dam wall. Pre-dams are used to pre-clean the water of debris and tur\u00adbid\u00adi\u00adty. The water is dammed up in the pre-dams and then flows through the over\u00adflows into the stream and on into the main&nbsp;dam.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>The best start\u00ading point is the hik\u00ading park\u00ading lot in the cen\u00adter of Traut\u00aden\u00adstein. Fol\u00adlow the sign\u00adposts of the Harzk\u00adlub branch asso\u00adci\u00ada\u00adtion along the right bank of the Rapp\u00adbode and after a&nbsp;short climb you will reach the <g id=\"gid_0\">Trage\u00adburg HWN 52<\/g>.
