In between lies the val\u00adley of the Kalten Bode and the bor\u00adder with Sax\u00adony-Anhalt or, dur\u00ading the time of Ger\u00adman divi\u00adsion, the bor\u00adder with the&nbsp;GDR.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>The Wurm\u00adbergschanze was built on the sum\u00admit in 1922, with a&nbsp;30&nbsp;m&nbsp;high inrun tow\u00ader and a&nbsp;view\u00ading plat\u00adform. In 1950, a&nbsp;hut was built next to the ski jump, today\u2019s Wurm\u00adber\u00adgalm. The ski jump was demol\u00adished in 2014 due to struc\u00adtur\u00adal damage.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>The Wurm\u00adberg cable car has been run\u00adning from Braun\u00adlage to the sum\u00admit since 1963 and was com\u00adplete\u00adly ren\u00ado\u00advat\u00aded in 2001 \u2014 with the option of get\u00adting on and off at the mid\u00addle sta\u00adtion. The cable car is 2.8&nbsp;km long and cov\u00aders a&nbsp;dif\u00adfer\u00adence in alti\u00adtude of approx. 400&nbsp;m. It oper\u00adates all year round and trans\u00adports hik\u00aders, skiers, moun\u00adtain bik\u00aders and mon\u00adster scoot\u00aders to the summit.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wurmbergbaude.de\/wurmberg-restaurant.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Worm min\u00ading<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>The Wurm\u00adberg can be reached via many sign\u00adpost\u00aded hik\u00ading trails from the sur\u00adround\u00ading Harz vil\u00adlages of Braun\u00adlage, Schierke and Elend, but also from K\u00f6nigskrug and Oder\u00adbr\u00fcck.
