He was the orig\u00adi\u00adna\u00adtor of numer\u00adous improve\u00adments in the postal sys\u00adtem, includ\u00ading the inven\u00adtion of the \u201cpost\u00adcard\u201d. Stephan found\u00aded the \u201cUni\u00adver\u00adsal Postal Union\u201d in 1874, which cov\u00adered Europe and large parts of Asia, Africa and America.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>Hein\u00adrich von Stephan was a&nbsp;guest at the Bergho\u00adtel Ravens\u00adberg for many years and enjoyed the Harz forests.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/ravensberg-baude.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Berghof Ravens\u00adberg<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>The start\u00ading point is the park\u00ading lot at Drei\u00adher\u00adren\u00adstein on Ravens\u00adbergstra\u00dfe.
