The Hah\u00adnen\u00adklee cliffs form a&nbsp;700&nbsp;m&nbsp;wide rock face above the Oder valley.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>From the cliffs, you have a&nbsp;won\u00adder\u00adful view of the Rehberg and the man-made \u201cRehberg\u00ader Graben\u201d. Down in the val\u00adley, the small Harz riv\u00ader Oder mean\u00adders through the meadows.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>This strik\u00ading riv\u00ader val\u00adley between Braun\u00adlage and St. Andreas\u00adberg was formed 250 mil\u00adlion years ago by tec\u00adton\u00adic activ\u00adi\u00adty in the Harz Moun\u00adtains. The Oder Val\u00adley used to be the sum\u00admer pas\u00adture for the \u201cHarz red cattle\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>The best start\u00ading point is at the hik\u00ading park\u00ading lot at K\u00f6nigskrug. The stamp box is locat\u00aded in the hut at the turn-off to the Hah\u00adnen\u00adklee cliffs.
