From the view\u00ading plat\u00adform on the Ahrends\u00adberg cliffs, you have a&nbsp;great view of the rocky land\u00adscape of the Oker Valley.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>The Romk\u00ader\u00adhalle park\u00ading lot below the Oker\u00adtal dam is a&nbsp;good start\u00ading point for the ascent. The J\u00e4ger\u00adsteig trail up to the Hallesche H\u00fctte starts direct\u00adly at the hydro\u00adelec\u00adtric pow\u00ader sta\u00adtion and is also sign\u00adpost\u00aded by a&nbsp;cor\u00adre\u00adspond\u00ading sign at the pow\u00ader sta\u00adtion. The nar\u00adrow J\u00e4ger\u00adsteig trail leads through the for\u00adest towards Alte\u00adnau until the cliff path branch\u00ades off towards the Hallesche H\u00fctte.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>You can also short\u00aden the ascent slight\u00adly by using the steep ascent branch\u00ading off from the J\u00e4ger\u00adsteig, but this is only rec\u00adom\u00admend\u00aded for expe\u00adri\u00adenced hik\u00aders who are sure-foot\u00aded.
