The source of the Tr\u00e4nke\u00adbach stream is locat\u00aded next to the&nbsp;hut.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>Just like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.harzer-wandernadel.de\/en\/stamping-points\/overview-map\/stamp-point-142-mandolinenhuette\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"1160\">Man\u00addo\u00adlinen\u00adh\u00fctte HWN 142<\/a>, the Tr\u00e4nke\u00adbach\u00adh\u00fctte is locat\u00aded on the Stein\u00adway Trail, which leads from Wolf\u00adsha\u00adgen to Seesen.<\/p>\n\n<p>Hein\u00adrich Engel\u00adhard Stein\u00adweg (1797\u20131871) was born in Wolf\u00adsha\u00adgen in the Harz Moun\u00adtains. He came to Seesen in 1825 to work as a&nbsp;mas\u00adter car\u00adpen\u00adter. Here, the musi\u00adcal\u00adly tal\u00adent\u00aded Hein\u00adrich Engel\u00adhard ini\u00adtial\u00adly repaired table pianos and musi\u00adcal instru\u00adments on the side until he estab\u00adlished him\u00adself as an instru\u00adment mak\u00ader in 1836. He spe\u00adcial\u00adized in the con\u00adstruc\u00adtion of upright and grand pianos and gained a&nbsp;rep\u00adu\u00adta\u00adtion. In 1850, the fam\u00adi\u00adly emi\u00adgrat\u00aded to New York. With their acquired knowl\u00adedge of piano mak\u00ading, they found\u00aded the inter\u00adna\u00adtion\u00adal\u00adly renowned com\u00adpa\u00adny Stein\u00adway &amp;&nbsp;Sons there in 1853. The Stein\u00adweg fam\u00adi\u00adly, lat\u00ader Stein\u00adway, always main\u00adtained con\u00adtact with their home in the Harz Moun\u00adtains and came to vis\u00adit again and again.
