It was built in 1904 on the ini\u00adtia\u00adtive of the med\u00adical coun\u00adcilor August Tis\u00adchmann and today belongs to the Harzk\u00adlub ZV Bad Lauter\u00adberg. The first dona\u00adtions were col\u00adlect\u00aded in Novem\u00adber 1902 so that the con\u00adstruc\u00adtion work, which was car\u00adried out by the mas\u00adter brick\u00adlay\u00ader Wal\u00adter Nagel from Bad Lauter\u00adberg, could begin quick\u00adly. The Bis\u00admar\u00adck Tow\u00ader was built from nat\u00adur\u00adal stone and bricks. A&nbsp;relief of Bis\u00admar\u00adck made in the bronze foundry is locat\u00aded halfway up above the entrance to the&nbsp;tower.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>There used to be a&nbsp;fire bowl on the top of the tow\u00ader, which was removed in 1987. Dur\u00ading the open\u00ading hours of the restau\u00adrant, the tow\u00ader can be accessed via a&nbsp;60-step stone stair\u00adcase and an 11-step met\u00adal stair\u00adcase.
