Due to the effects of the weath\u00ader, the wood\u00aden tow\u00ader soon became unus\u00adable. The deci\u00adsion was made to build a&nbsp;new tow\u00ader. Con\u00adstruc\u00adtion of the tow\u00ader began on June 16, 1907, and on Decem\u00adber 28, 1907, the 25-metre-high tow\u00ader was approved. The con\u00adstruc\u00adtion costs amount\u00aded to 7,500&nbsp;marks.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>In 1955, the tow\u00ader was ren\u00ado\u00advat\u00aded at great expense and giv\u00aden a&nbsp;rein\u00adforced con\u00adcrete shell. In 1963, the tow\u00ader had to be raised by almost 10&nbsp;m&nbsp;as the beech trees had grown all around it, mak\u00ading it impos\u00adsi\u00adble to see all around. In 1969, the base was final\u00adly giv\u00aden a&nbsp;rein\u00adforced con\u00adcrete shell to car\u00adry the build\u00ading into the next millennium.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>Since the look\u00adout tow\u00ader was built in 1886, there has also been a&nbsp;small for\u00adest restau\u00adrant. The for\u00adest restau\u00adrant at the Iberg\u00ader Albert\u00adturm offers a&nbsp;unique attrac\u00adtion in addi\u00adtion to its rus\u00adtic, Harz-fresh cozi\u00adness: snow\u00adball fights in sum\u00admer with nat\u00adur\u00adal snow from the pre\u00advi\u00adous win\u00adter. The snow is stored in holes in the ground cre\u00adat\u00aded by the lime being washed out by the winter.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wildemann-harz.de\/gaststaette-iberger-albertturm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Iberg Albert Tower<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>The Iberg sta\u00adlac\u00adtite cave is locat\u00aded at the foot of the Iberg, which was cre\u00adat\u00aded when the ground\u00adwa\u00adter lev\u00adel sank. The cave was dis\u00adcov\u00adered in the Mid\u00addle Ages while min\u00ading for ore. It was opened to the pub\u00adlic as a&nbsp;show cave in 1874. The 78&nbsp;m&nbsp;long entrance tun\u00adnel was built in 1911. Today, the \u201cHaupt\u00admann-Spatzi\u00ader-Stollen\u201d con\u00adnects three dif\u00adfer\u00adent caves.
