The view\u00adpoint was lat\u00ader named after&nbsp;him.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>A sign with the fol\u00adlow\u00ading slo\u00adgan was placed right next to the tun\u00adnel entrance:<\/p>\n\n<p><em>\u201c<\/em>Wan\u00adder\u00ader, stop your steps if you want to delight your heart and mind.<br>Eas\u00adi\u00adly climb moun\u00adtain heights, where the shiv\u00aders of the pre\u00advi\u00adous world blow.<br>And long ago there were tow\u00aders and bat\u00adtle\u00adments.<br>But now your eye rests on the moun\u00adtain stream\u2019s wild flood.<br>And you feel only air \u2014 but hor\u00adror, if you dare to look down.<br>Enter this&nbsp;cave.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p>The Wil\u00adhelms\u00adblick is locat\u00aded on a&nbsp;nar\u00adrow rocky ridge, which is sur\u00adround\u00aded by the Bode in a&nbsp;large arc. As a&nbsp;result, you can see sev\u00ader\u00adal sec\u00adtions of the Bode riv\u00ader from this beau\u00adti\u00adful van\u00adtage&nbsp;point.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>A rec\u00adom\u00admend\u00aded start\u00ading point for the hike is the park\u00ading lot on the banks of the Bode in Tre\u00adse\u00adburg. Past the bus stop, you will reach Wil\u00adhelms\u00adblick via an ascend\u00ading path with sev\u00ader\u00adal view\u00adpoints.
